Everything on this site that isn't mine belongs to someone, and this page says who. If you made something referenced here and want it handled differently, please message me and I will remove it.

Geometry Dash

Geometry Dash is created and owned by RobTop Games AB. This site is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by RobTop Games, and no such relationship is claimed. All Geometry Dash trademarks and copyrights belong to RobTop Games.

The levels and their creators

Every level named here was built by its creators, and each level page credits the host, every builder the sources list, and the verifier by name. Level names and level designs remain the property of the people who made them. The rankings and commentary are my own and imply no involvement or agreement from any creator.

The Game

The Game is built on the level list of AREDL, the Extreme Demon List, which is kept by its staff and community. Only level names and their ranks are used, taken from a snapshot stored on this site and refreshed by hand, so it lags behind the live list. No records, videos or player data are reproduced. The level names belong to the people who made the levels. This site is not affiliated with AREDL and is not endorsed by it.

The music

Every song is credited to its artist, with its Newgrounds ID where the track is on Newgrounds. Songs remain the property of their composers. No audio is hosted, streamed or reproduced on this site — song sections are text credits with a link out to the artist's own page.

Artwork on this site

The artwork on every level page is original work made for this site. Nothing here is a screenshot, a frame grab, or a copy of any level's assets. Each piece is an interpretation drawn from scratch — in code, as SVG generated by a python program, in response to a level's colours, motifs and atmosphere, in the same spirit as a poster of a film rather than a still from it.

Where a level's own imagery is well known, the interpretation is deliberately recognisable. That resemblance is the point of a tribute, and it is offered as commentary and criticism. If you built one of these levels and would rather your work were not evoked this way, say so and it will be changed or removed.

Text and code

The commentary, page text, layouts and source code are © Baylor, and the site's source is public. Please don't republish the written commentary wholesale; quoting a line with a link back is welcome.

Typefaces

Typefaces are served from this site under the SIL Open Font License: Archivo, IBM Plex Mono, Cinzel, Cormorant Garamond, Bodoni Moda, Saira, Poppins, Chakra Petch, Metal Mania, Bungee, Bangers, Marcellus, Kaushan Script, Yellowtail, Cutive Mono and Dela Gothic One. Animation uses GSAP, also served from here, under its standard licence.

Sources

Facts are drawn from the Geometry Dash Wiki, the Geometry Dash Fan Wiki, Pointercrate and GDBrowser, and the Game's list from AREDL. Every level page lists the specific sources used for that level.

Takedowns and corrections

If you own something referenced here and want it credited differently, altered or removed — or if a fact on any page is wrong — contact me and I will fix it. This is a fan project run by one person; there is no process to fight through.

What this site is not

Nothing here is professional advice of any kind, and this site collects no money, sells nothing and offers no service. It is one person writing about levels in a video game.
