Best Extreme Demon
2023
A remake of Blade of Justice that kept its Goukisan theme, and won the year it landed.
Why it’s here
A triumphant, cinematic grand finale.
Edge of Destiny is a triumphant, cinematic grand finale. Created as a heavily updated sequel and remake to Blade of Justice, CDMusic and the team managed to optimise and upgrade the futuristic sci-fi aesthetic into something truly breathtaking.
Set to Goukisan's “Betrayal of Fear,” the level has an incredible sense of scale and momentum. The drop feels monumental, and the stunning artwork combined with the intense, high-speed gameplay makes it feel like you are playing through the climax of an epic action movie.
