Slaughterhouse
A hell-themed wave gauntlet, and for a while the hardest level in the game.
Slaughterhouse — the end of the world
Never supposed to be possible
Welcome to the
End of the World
Hosted by icedcave over his own 2015 impossible level. spaceuk claimed the verification on 24 October 2021 and had hacked it; Doggie took the title legitimately on 19 December. River’s wave at 49-58% is the part everyone quotes.

Why it’s here
Pure, unadulterated intimidation.
Slaughterhouse is pure, unadulterated intimidation. Hosted by icedcave, this mega-collaboration took the standard red-and-black “hell theme” of Geometry Dash and pushed it to its absolute terrifying maximum. It is famous for its completely unforgiving difficulty, leaning heavily into brutal quadruple-speed wave sections and ridiculously tight straight-fly corridors.
The atmosphere of this level is suffocating. The song, a heavy remix of “Lost” by Crim3s using a vocal sample from “Fire” by Vince Staples, creates an intensely dark, glitchy and chaotic environment. Right from the start, a slow cube section drops the haunting text “Welcome to the End of the World,” setting the perfect psychological tone for the torture that is about to follow.
The most iconic segment has to be river's wave at 49-58%. But for me personally, it is the very end, starting at the final ship part with everything enclosing on you before handing you some of the hardest cube timings the game has to offer. icedcave's own logo at the end popping up right after you click the last input actually is so nostalgic for me and literally gives me chills. I don't know why, but something about it — and the fact that it really was never supposed to be possible — is so cool to me.
The history of Slaughterhouse is just as legendary as its gameplay. The level was initially the subject of a massive verification race, culminating in spaceuk claiming the victory in late 2021. However, when spaceuk was later exposed in one of the biggest hacking scandals in Geometry Dash history, his records were wiped, and the title of legitimate verifier rightfully fell to Doggie, the level's true first victor. Beating Slaughterhouse is a supreme test of raw nerve and mechanical perfection, standing as a terrifying monument to the absolute limits of player skill.
